Hi there. There was a quite long time since my last post here. So here it is. This image was made in my spare time just for fun. And if it is just for fun why it must be a normal piece. I thought that through the years I have never so a warrior like this, what you think?
I don't think I usually comment on your work...
This time is different.... This piece show magistral talent.. you managed to capture the expression of a protective warrior...
So real. So crude....
Excellent work.

Oh, very daring! I for one think the pregnant mother is one of the last strong symbols in a quickly standardizing gloabalizing world culture where amazement is fast slipping away. Not to mention so few girls actually have children now, I just love to see a happy round tummy.
I don't it's healthy for a pregnant woman to be moving around so much. If she was a meat tank 20x larger and weilding axes, then she might not have to move as much, but when she's a sword fighter there's a ton of bending and dodging and turning and angular cross-strokes invovled.
Additionally it's a huge weight that she wouln't be used to (unless she trained for it or has had a TON of kids), which would put her off balance most of the time.
I'm not saying pregnant mothers cannot be strong, just not sword-dancers, and with that body frame, little amount of muscle, and that style of blades... I'd say she'd usually be a fast paced mover given a very sensitive handicap.

And actually, I think that a woman's Intimidation Factor goes up by 10 at least when she's pregnant.
This scene took place after her hubby/bf forgot to pick up the pickle ice cream on the way home from pillaging again, didn't he?
